IMGhouse has been created to connect the different players within the image market. Our ambiton is to build a platform that will suit both photographers and image buyers.

It has long been difficult for image buyers to find the right image within the enormous stock-image archives and it has been difficult for photographers to guess and predict what images to prepare that might be sold. Until now, buying and selling pictures has been very time-consuming. IMGhouse is a service intended to help the buyers to find the image they are looking for in a effective manner and to help photographers and image stock-houses reach the customers when there is a specific image need.

The unique feature with IMGhouse is that image buyers now are able to get hold of stock images from local places. An ad may be expressed in such a way that a photographer living in the right place may want to take an image right away like it would have been a photo assignment.

This service is a result of an idea that freelance photographer Silvia Man got when she found it hard to reach to the image buyers. Today, IMGhouse is under development, housed as a incubator at MINC in Malmö, Sweden. The program development has been carried out by Stéphane Rondinaud.
